وی، با تبریك به رهبران ایران به خاطر ریاست این كشور بر سازمان كشورهای غیرمتعهدها 'نم' گفت كه پاكستان با ابراز رضایت از ارتقاء سطح روابط میان دو كشور كه از یك پیشینه تاریخی، فرهنگی و مذهبی برخوردار است، خواستار گسترش هرچه بیشتر این روابط می باشد.

رییس جمهوری پاكستان یادآور شد كه دیدار سه جانبه ایران، پاكستان و افغانستان انگیزه ای برای گسترش هرچه بیشتر روابط فیمابین و همكاری های متقابل در زمینه های اقتصادی، انرژی، تجارت و سرمایه گذاری و همچنین ارتباطات راه و راه آهن شده است.

زرداری افزود، لازم است دو كشور با اتخاذ ترتیباتی ضروری و بهینه سازی وضعیت كنترل مرزی فیمابین، نسبت به بروز هرگونه حادثه ای در مرزهای خود ممانعت بعمل آورند.

وی تاكید كرد كه تروریسم و افراط گرایی دو عامل نگرانی مشترك دو كشور بوده و از آنجا كه دو كشور دارای مرز مشترك با افغانستان هستند، لازم است با هدف دستیابی به صلح، ثبات و توسعه در منطقه، تلاش مشتركی برای تقابل با آنها صورت بگیرد.

زرداری گفت كه موضوعات منطقه ای نیازمند بكارگیری راه حل های منطقه ای خاص خود بوده و با همین باور، پاكستان به حق حاكمیت، استقلال و وحدت ارضی كشورها احترام می گذارد.

تمامی مورخان محل ولادت امام جواد (ع) را مدینه طیبه می دانند - در سال 195 هجری قمری - اما در ماه و روز ولادت آن امام اختلاف نظر وجود دارد، برخی همانند محدث كلینی در كتاب كافی، شیخ مفید در ارشاد، شهید ثانی در كتاب دروس، ولادت امام جواد (ع) را در ماه رمضان سال 195 هجری قمری می دانند و روز ولادت را معین نكرده اند.

شیخ طوسی نیز در كتاب مصباح می گوید امام جواد در روز دهم ماه رجب سال 195 هجری قمری متولد شده است.

تولد مبارك امام جواد (ع) نه تنها پایان بخش دلهره های شیعیان و افشای نیت فرصت طلبان و سود جویانی چون فرقه واقفیه بود، بلكه آغاز فصل نوینی از تاریخ ائمه اطهارعلیهم السلام است.

در خانواده امام رضا (ع) و در محافل شیعه، از حضرت جواد (ع) به عنوان مولودی پر خیر و بركت یاد می شد. چنانكه ابو یحیای صنعانی می گوید: روزی در محضر امام رضا (ع) السلام بودم، فرزندش ابو جعفر را كه خردسال بود، آوردند. امام فرمود: این مولودی است كه برای شیعیان ما، با بركت تر از او زاده نشده است.

مادر آن حضرت سبیكه كه از خاندان ماریه قبطیه همسر پیامبر اسلام به شمار می رود، از نظر فضایل اخلاقی در درجه والایی قرار داشت و برترین زنان زمان خود بود، به طوری كه امام رضا (ع) از او به عنوان بانویی منزه و پاكدامن و با فضیلت یاد می كرد.

از مادر آن امام با نام های دیگری نیز یاد كرده اند همچون سبیكه، نوبیه و سكینه، كه شاید این نام آخر صورت تصحیف شده سبیكه باشد، خیزران و دره. امام رضا (ع) آن بانو را خیزران می خواند و گفته اند نامش ریحان و قبطی و مكنی به ام الحسن بود.

مدت عمر آن حضرت 25 سال بود. از این مدت، وی هشت یا هفت سال و چهار ماه و دو روز با پدرش و 17 یا 18 سال پس از پدرش زیست. كه این همان مدت امامت آن حضرت به شمار می رود و مصادف با دوران مامون است.

مامون كار زهر دادن به امام رضا (ع) را بسیار سری و مخفیانه انجام داده بود و سعی داشت جامعه از این جنایت آگاهی نیابد. اما با همه پرده پوشی و ریاكاری، سرانجام بر علویان آشكار شد كه قاتل امام جز مامون كسی نبوده است، مامون برای پیشگیری از عواقب امر، توطئه دیگری آغاز كرد و با تظاهر به مهربانی و دوستی نسبت به امام جواد (ع) تصمیم گرفت دختر خود را به حضرت ترویج كند تا استفاده ای را كه از تحمیل ولیعهدی بر امام رضا (ع) در نظر داشت از این وصلت به دست آورد.

بر اساس همین طرح بود كه امام جواد (ع) را در سال 204 ه. ق یعنی یك سال پس از شهادت امام رضا (ع) از مدینه به بغداد آورد و به دنبال مذاكراتی كه در جلسه مناظره امام با یحیی بن اكثم گذشت، دختر خود ام الفضل را به همسری حضرت در آورد!

امام جواد (ع) مناظرات و بحث و گفت و گوهایی داشته است كه برخی از آنها بسیار پر سر و صدا و هیجان انگیز و جالب بوده است. و از آن جا كه آن حضرت نخستین امامی بود كه در كودكی به منصب امامت رسید، علت اصلی پیدایش این مناظرات این بود كه از یك طرف، امامت او به خاطر كمی سن برای بسیاری از شیعیان كاملا ثابت نشده بود (گرچه بزرگان و دانایان شیعه بر اساس عقیده شیعه هیچ شك و تردیدی در این زمینه نداشتند) از این رو برای اطمینان خاطر و به عنوان آزمایش، سوالات فراوانی از آن حضرت می كردند.

از طرف دیگر، در آن مقطع زمانی، قدرت معتزله افزایش یافته بود و مكتب اعتزال به مرحله رواج و رونق گام نهاده بود و حكومت وقت در آن زمان از آنان حمایت و پشتیبانی می كرد و از سلطه و نفوذ خود و دیگر امكانات مادی و معنوی حكومتی، برای استواری و تثبیت خط فكری آنان و ضربه زدن به گروه های دیگر و تضعیف موقعیت و نفوذ آنان به هر شكلی بهره برداری می كرد.

معتزلیان دستورها و مطالب دینی را به عقل خود عرضه می كردند و آنچه را كه عقلشان صریحا تایید می كرد می پذیرفتند و بقیه را رد و انكار می كردند و چون نیل به مقام امامت امت در سنین خردسالی با عقل ظاهر بین آنان قابل توجیه نبود، سوالات دشوار و پیچیده ای را مطرح می كردند تا به پندار خود، آن حضرت را در میدان رقابت علمی شكست بدهند ولی در همه این بحث ها و مناظرات علمی، حضرت جواد (در پرتو علم امامت) با پاسخ های قاطع و روشنگر، هر گونه شك و تردید را در مورد پیشوایی خود از بین می برد و امامت خود و نیز اصل امامت را تثبیت می كرد.

به همین دلیل بعد از او در دوران امامت حضرت هادی (كه او نیز در سنین كودكی به امامت رسید) این موضوع مشكلی ایجاد نكرد، زیرا دیگر برای همه روشن شده بود كه خردسالی تاثیری در برخورداری از این منصب خدایی ندارد.

سرانجام آن حضرت در سن 25 سالگی و در اوایل خلافت معتصم، به دستور او مسموم شد و به اجداد طاهرینش پیوست. بدن مطهر آن حضرت را در قبرستان قریش و كنار قبر جد شهیدش امام موسی بن جعفر (ع) به خاك سپردند.
